The company’s beginnings date from the mid-1970's and crystallized in 1977 at the First West Coast Computer Faire in San Francisco’s Brooks Hall (now Bill Graham Civic Auditorium).

RL & Associates, Inc. has since maintained a steady course of progress in a volatile, interesting and competitive industry. In 1990, the company moved to its current home in what became San Francisco’s “Silicon Gulch” neighborhood in the South of Market area. The company grew during the high-tech and dot.com booms and continued to operate through the bust following the hyper-expansive growth.

While many larger and more aggressively competitive companies have disappeared, our cooperative, responsive, lean and affordable approach has allowed us to continue to meet both our network and disabled clients’ needs with economy and creative customization.
